Regular Member Application Requirements: – 4000 hours of construction experience; – Letter(s) from previous employer(s) stating your duties and skills while you were employed; – Records of Employment (ROE’s) to prove the dates employed and the hours that are noted on the letter by the employer; – initiation fee payment of $800 in full, plus monthly union dues of $30.

Apprentice Member Application Requirements: – provide a copy of Grade 10 Transcript or Grade 12 Diploma obtained on a Canadian Level; – complete a written assessment and hands on assessment (hard hat, steel toe boots and gloves are required); – once you become an apprentice member, you will have to register as an apprentice in the Province of Ontario; -attend in-school training (Level 1-240 hours & Level 2-240 hours); – pay an initiation fee payment of $800 in full, plus monthly union dues of $30. Upon completion of the CCW Red Seal Certification Exam, $150 will be reimbursed.
